Pygmalion School of Fine Art has been operating since 1992 under the tutelage
of owner, Dixie R. Orriss. The school offers quality instruction, individual
guidance, a small class size, in a large studio setting. Pygmalion has
an excellent reputation as a competent and innovative school. Students
study theory and fundamentals relating to visual art and are able to develop
methods and techniques used for drawing, painting, and sculpture mediums.
The progressive approach to teaching art gives the students the opportunity
to grow as artists beyond the amateur level and to create their own method
of expression.
